Our Story
Sixty-five years serving the same towns, the same families, and the same handshake. Here's who we are.
The beginning
In 1960, our family set out to do something simple and hard at the same time: make sure neighbors out here in McCurtain County could pick up a phone and reach the rest of the world. We strung the line ourselves, climbed the poles ourselves, and answered the calls ourselves.
Three generations later, the tools have changed. Copper is becoming fiber. A dial tone has become gigabit dreams. But we still build and maintain our own network, we still answer our own phones, and we're still owned by the same family that started it.
That's the part the big carriers can never copy. They can match a price. They can't match sixty-five years of showing up.
What we stand for
We live in the towns we serve. Decisions get made here, not in a boardroom three states away.
Plain pricing, no hidden fees, no surprise hikes. If we tell you a number, that's the number.
We treat customers like neighbors because they are. Your family's connection matters to ours.
In the community
We're active members of the Chamber of Commerce and proud to support the youth growing up in these communities. From ball teams to the local school, the dollars you spend with us tend to come right back to your kids' field.
When you choose a local company, you're choosing where the money goes. We're honored that for so many families around here, the answer has been Freedom Fiber for sixty-five years.
Come see us
Stop by the Freedom Fiber office at 100 Wilson St. There's usually coffee on, and a real person who can answer a question, take a payment, or get your service set up.
