Our network management practices and performance, disclosed per FCC transparency rules.
Freedom Fiber is a service of Valliant Telephone Company, Inc. In keeping with the FCC's open internet transparency rules, this page describes how we manage our network, the performance you can expect, and the commercial terms of our broadband service.
We do not block lawful content, applications, services, or non-harmful devices. We do not throttle lawful traffic based on content, and we do not favor some traffic in exchange for payment (no paid prioritization). We may take reasonable, non-discriminatory steps to keep the network secure and running well, such as managing congestion, preventing spam and attacks, and protecting customers.
Fiber and DSL are delivered to your home over our own network. Fixed wireless is a best-effort service whose speed depends on your distance from a tower, terrain, and weather. During rare periods of heavy demand we may manage traffic in a content-neutral way so that everyone stays connected.
Fiber plans deliver symmetrical or near-symmetrical speeds up to 100 Mbps with typical latency under 20 ms. DSL speeds depend on distance from the node. Fixed wireless is best-effort. "Typical" speeds are what most customers experience; actual results vary. See the Broadband Facts label on each plan for that plan's typical speeds.
We use industry-standard practices to protect the network and our customers, including measures against spam, denial-of-service attacks, and other threats.
Current pricing, fees, and data policies are shown on our Internet page and in the Broadband Facts label for each plan. Our Terms & Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy govern your service, and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
