Garvin is one of the McCurtain County communities just outside the towns where our fiber and DSL lines run. Out here, the main way we get you online is fixed wireless: a small antenna at your home that points back to one of our towers. It runs $55 a month plus tax on a two-year term, with best-effort speeds based on your distance and signal.
We'll be honest with you. In Garvin, wireless is usually the option, not fiber. Fiber and DSL stay closer to the core hometowns for now. That said, fixed wireless has kept a lot of rural homes around here connected for streaming, school, work, and keeping up with family, and it does it without a data cap or a national contract.
